Timothy Hugh Risner, age 65 of Wellston, passed away at his home on Friday, May 11, 2018. He was born on February 18, 1953 in Phoenix, Arizona to the late Gene and Jacquelyn (Naylor) Risner. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Nick Risner. Tim is survived by his wife "Mindy"; a son, Rex Risner; a grandchild, Bailey; three sisters: Vicki Risner, Loni Christianson and Susie McCammond; step-daughter, Graceyn Gibson; and a step-grandchild, Reigna. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a wonderful husband and father – his kids meant everything to him. He worked as a project manager for the Central Arizona Water Project before moving to Wellston in 2012. He was known world-wide for his "one-liners", wit and humor. Anybody that knew him loved him and will never forget him. He was also an avid motorcyclist. No calling hours will be observed. It was Tim's request to be cremated. A memorial service with military honors will be conducted in Phoenix, Arizona at the convenience of the family. My dad was a great father and beloved friend. He had a very funny personality that many wouldn't get. He always had a smile on his face. He loved my brother and I very much he will never be forgotten and he will be missed by everyone that had the opportunity to meet him and call him a friend.
