Not sure what to say?

When I heard the sad news that Schultz had passed away, my first thought was, "Only the good die young". I met Shultz at U.of M.40 years ago. Oh dear, what fun we had! He went on to teach in Chicago but was laid off after his first year. That is, until his student's parents protested so loudly that the Board of Education promptly reinstated him. He had called and reached out to them over the year and they realized what a gift he was. I was impressed and I still am impressed and inspired...

My heartfelt prayers & sympathy go out to the Schultz family. My daughter was a student of Mr. Schultz. The love and concern that he had for my daugther Gloria Purifoy truly touched my heart. I will forever be grateful to Mr. Schultz for the wonderful mentor and friend he was to her. As a parent, I say thank you Mr. Schultz for loving and caring for my child and being as proud of her as I am. You made parents feel special too. God's Peaceful Rest to you Mr. Schultz!

He made an impact to all of the lives he touched!

To the Schultz Family, I am sorry for your loss. My thoughts and Prayers go out to you.

I'm going to miss you uncle timmy, love you soo much<3

To the Schultz family, I am sorry for your loss. I was filled with great sadness to hear that such a wonderful teacher, mentor, and friend had passed away. I know that no amount of words can't fill the void that you have, but just maybe they will be of comfort to know that he had such an impact on many lives. Former NNHS Student Latrice Burns

I have no words....only a face full of tears, and sadness in my heart since I learned that my dear friend, former teacher and mentor has left this world. Yet, there remains joy in my spirit and so much thankfulness that I was chosen to be a recipient of the blessing that would come with being one of his "special children."

I believe some people are purposed not to give birth to their own children, because God needs them to love so many others, and Schultz had a GENUINE love for...

Dear Family of Tim Schultz, I am so sorry for your loss. Perhaps you already know that Tim often worked at Payton College Prep in Chicago in the last few years. That's where I met him. Payton's students and we, his fellow teachers, loved him for his kindness and his humor. One day he and I proctored a long standardized test together. We kept ourselves alert by silently exchanging comic notes and poems as we walked around the classroom, supervising the diligent students. In the mail room,...

Tim was a great friend of mine back in my high school days at good old St Mary's High school. In those days, Tim seem to spend more time at my home than I did. My mom, who passed away 7 years ago, always asked me if I ever see my friend Tim. It was not to be. Tim was a great guy with a big heart. His memory will always be there for me. If you can read this from up there Tim! You done good!
