Timothy Alan Schultz

When I heard the sad news that Schultz had passed away, my first thought was, "Only the good die young". I met Shultz at U.of M.40 years ago. Oh dear, what fun we had! He went on to teach in Chicago but was laid off after his first year. That is, until his student's parents protested so loudly that the Board of Education promptly reinstated him. He had called and reached out to them over the year and they realized what a gift he was. I was impressed and I still am impressed and inspired...

He made an impact to all of the lives he touched!

To the Schultz family, I am sorry for your loss. I was filled with great sadness to hear that such a wonderful teacher,mentor, and friend had passed away. Tim was a great friend of mine back in my high school days at good old St Mary's High school. In those days, Tim seem to spend more time at my home than I did. My mom, who passed away 7 years ago, always asked me if I ever see my friend Tim. It was not to be. Tim was a great guy with a big heart. His memory will always be there for me. If you can read this from up there Tim! You done good!
