Not sure what to say?

I met Tim in our 20's in Bellingham. I just got the news, he was due to say hello a while ago. He was a good friend to me. I did have the ability to make him cranky. I went to his wedding and later met his tiny daughters and time slipped away. I think of him on the hill with his cats and stories of children and grandchildren. Be well!

We had the pleasure of meeting Tim when he designed and built custom cabinets for our 1905 era house. We had multiple built ins that needed to fit in small, awkward spaces. At the time I had been very particular about having period appropriate cabinets. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find a cabinet maker who shared my somewhat obsessive vision for the house. But Tim was unfazed. In fact, he seemed to relish the opportunity to exceed our expectations and to create cabinets that...

He was always a great listener and a friend that always supported you.
I am so sorry to the family for your loss. I hadn't seen Tim in decades, but was always a fond memory in my life.
I am saddened beyond words of this news.

I worked for Tim from 2003-2010. He taught me things about woodworking that I still use in my profession today. Tim left an even bigger mark on me personally. I've come to appreciate and understand his approach to life even more as I age. Also, his stories and the music that he introduced me to will never be forgotten. The world was a better place with Tim in it.

My wife & I only knew Tim for the last 2 1/2 years but in all honesty it felt like we’ve known him for much much longer. As we were beginning to search for cabinetry towards our remodel my wife’s eye was attracted to his work we found online. From the moment we connected with Tim we knew he was the person to help build & guide us through our kitchen process. I still laugh when I remember how he described the island idea I drew as a “2 lb block of Tilamook cheese.” His honesty was brutal...

The first time I interviewed Tim (he was actually interviewing me) for a project, he walked me through his shop, and with great pride, showed me some of the many details he had perfected over the years. We shared an interest in building products that would stand the test of time. His highly crafted cabinets will live on for many years in our region's homes, providing pleasure and appreciation, improving our lives. He has a great legacy. Collaborating with him was a privilege.

I worked closely with Tim for many years. He was talented, funny, generous and meticulous in his work. After a long career in design, I can easily say Tim’s cabinets were the best in Seattle. I am sorry for your loss, and may his memory be a comfort to you all.

I first worked for Tim around 1992 in the old brick building then again in 2011. Tim was never at a loss for words he could keep the conversation going indefinitely even if he was paying me to listen, but I do miss are conversations together. He will be missed by many people. My condolences to his family.
