I rode the old Poodle bus back and forth to Mare Island Naval Shipyard with Tim. He always had interesting and funny stories to tell us on the 40 minute ride. Even after leaving Mare Island, I would see him jogging by our house in Boyes Hot Springs. Often, he would be with his three legged dog. Tim would stop and chat awhile. He always had time for his friends. My Dad was friends with him also. Sometimes the two of them would stand in the street talking for an hour with cars trying to avoid...

Tim and I have been friends for over 40 years at Mare Island and as a near neighbor. I will miss talking to Tim. Im at a loss for words but I hope his family all know I care.
