Not sure what to say?

I had Mr Smith at PTHS. I was Class of 1982. He was tough on me, but I needed that. What he wrote in my senior yearbook has stayed with me for my life. I´ve even shared it with one of my sons who recently joined the military. God Speed, Tim. THANK YOU for the lessons.

He was my asst principal in the Helen a fort middle school back in the late 90s. He was a very good man. He will be missed. When I saw the post on Facebook i was deeply saddened. May you RIP. Till we meet again. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mr Smith was a great guy
He challenged me every day to be the best I could be and to fulfill my potential
Although I was not his best or brightest I took his lessons to heart and still can remember his wise advice
He represented the best of what a teacher
mentor and man can be
Godspeed and comfort to his family

Mr. Smith you were a hard teacher. That's because you cared about all of us your students. You taught me so much. And not just US History. You were one of my favorite teachers. You always will be. You will be missed, Sir. May God be with you and Mrs. Smith. And all of your family, friends and all of us your kids ( Students ) Thank you.

Tim Smith was a tough but fair teacher. He challenged all of his students as a history teacher. To this day, we always will recall his famous pop quizzes. He shaped me to become a forward thinker and that has molded me to the person I am today. Unfortunately, time creates distance, but he was never removed from my mind and heart. Thank you for all that you did for me and my family. I will cherish our friendship and you will be missed.

Mr. Smith taught my history class at PHS. He challenged me. He believed in me and made me believe in myself. I got through college because he made me tough and gave me critical thinking skills that I didn’t learn until I was a senior in his class. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends! He made a difference in my life!

Sending all my love.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I pray all the good memories will bring you and your comfort. Prayers going up for you.

Mr. Smith was an Incredible Man, a dedicated and caring educator. I will always remember how he stepped up to be a pall bearer for my nephew Ryan and how much that meant to my family. Donna, my beloved friend, my heart aches for you. You are loved.
