Timothy Somers Obituary
He worked in the workshop at Easter Seals A.R.C, Van Dyne Crotty and Hardees. Timothy was an avid New York Mets, Chicago Bears, Bulls and Blackwawk fan. His ultimate sports figure was Larry Byrd. Timothy excelled in the Special Olympics for 35 years. He ran track, played basketball and was on the bowling league.
Timothy was a quiet and very kind man, which everyone loved.
Timothy is survived by his sister, LueAnn Carroll, step-mother, Margie Somers both of Fort Wayne, IN; nephew, Kyle J. (Chelsea) Carroll, niece Shelby M. (Stephen) Al-Bahrani, three great nephews, Lincoln, Leon, Cole, a great niece Louraine, one aunt and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother Bill Aaron.
Funeral service will be 5:00 pm Thursday February 22, 2024, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, IN with visitation two hours prior. Private burial and committal at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

My Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Byron used to bring Tim to our family's holiday gatherings. I think everyone was a little uncomfortable at first but as we got to know Tim, we really enjoyed seeing him and having him celebrate with us. When Uncle Byron died, I was touched to see Tim sitting in the front pew with Aunt Jeanne at the funeral. I think he brought them a lot of joy. My condolences to the family.
