TIMKO, Timothy Thomas, 69, of Sebring, Fla., passed away Sunday, April 19, 2009, in Sebring. He was born February 13, 1940, to Joseph and Susan (Molner) Timko in Cleveland, Ohio, and had been a resident of Sebring since July 1, 1972, coming from Carol City, Fla. He was a finish carpenter, worked for 28 years with Highlands County government, and formerly had worked for Hollenberg and Wolfe. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam era and was a member of the Moose Lodge; American Legion; Eagles and St. Catherine Catholic Church. Mr. Timko is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Timko of Sebring; daughter, Tiffany Therese (William) Ford of Winter Haven, Fla.; sons, Troy Thomas Timko of Gainesville, Fla., and Dr. Todd Trevor (Amy) Timko of Westchester, Ill.; and granddaughter, Grace Ann Ford. The family will receive friends 9-10:15 a.m. Friday, April 24, 2009, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring. A funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m., at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Sebring, with Father David Stokes officiating. Interment will be at at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, Fla., immediately following the service.
