jANICE AND ALAN ...THINKING OF YOU TODAY WITH LOVE

Alan, Janice, and Laura,
You are in our prayers today as you remember your dear and precious son/brother. Know that God has Tim in the palm of His hand.
Love,
Doug and Nan

Dear Alan, Janice & Laura - I am thinking of and praying for you today. Tim was a fine, young man and will be missed for years to come. Love you, Becky Johnson

Sgt Updike (Tim), I am dreading Thanksgiving day....last year you and I had duty and gave up your day with your wife to make sure that I had a friend to be with on that first holiday of my divorce....that day was memorable....you made me laugh and not cry....you were always there when I needed my "Kansas" friend....I have to get through this Thanksgiving knowing you are up there watching down on us all and it still hurts just as much now as it did when you left us.....

Thinking of the Updike family today. Remembering the great service and sacrifice of their beloved Timothy.

John 10:27-29 “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.”

It's been almost three months since you've left. I feel like I still see you all of the time, your face is everywhere. It is still hard to believe that you are really gone. But I know that God has a plan for us all, we may not understand it now, but I know he's always looking out for us. And when he saw you suffering, he took you home with him. You will be very much missed, regardless of how close we might not have been. I know that you are at peace now, no more pain, no more suffering. You...

It's been weeks and I still can't come to terms with the fact that you are no longer with us Sgt Updike. It's so weird walking in the office everyday and you're not there:( I know your at peace and you will keep looking down on us. Keep resting in piece

Thinking of you all as you lay Tim to rest tomorrow. My prayers are with you.
