Timothy Charles Vitale

Tim and I grew up in the same neighborhood and became very good friends beginning in the 6th grade at Lakewood School in 1964. We remained friends for the next 60 years. Tim and I were roommates while living in Ceres, CA. Unfortunately as the years passed we both went our different ways but all the while remaining friends even though several years might pass between visits. Tim was always a quick witted individual with a unique sense of humor. It´s hard to imagine I´ll never see Tim again but...

On behalf of the Lodi High Class of '71, please know we send our sincere condolences to the Vitale family at this difficult time. Tim had many friends and will fondly be remembered as that fun loving guy. He was quite the character always bringing laughter to the party. May he rest in eternal peace.

To Tom and the Vitale family. Sincere condolences. Time passes very quickly. Seems like only yesterday we were little kids playing on the canal banks. All my best.

Being a classmate of Tim's, he was one of a kind. I think Henry had the love incorrect. I think their love was equally both ways. I told that story to multiple people today. I can picture it like it happened on Friday.

Grew up with Timmy in the hood. We'd go lizard hunting on the canal bank, played with 101 army men sets in large piles of dirt, watched him run from Mrs. Fields, our 5th grade teacher. He was fast, but she would always catch him, and give him little whipping, he loved her.
