GLENS FALLS --- Timothy Vogel, 62, of New Street, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.

Born on January 6, 1962, in Glens Falls, he was the son of Joseph D. and Marion Betty (Pharmer) Vogel.

Timothy attended Glens Falls High School before starting his 40 years with Golub Corporation. The majority of these years were spent at Cooper Street Price Chopper where he knew everyone and everyone knew him.

He was an avid hockey fan, from attending local Adirondack Red Wings games to supporting the New York Rangers. Finally making it to the Garden in 2006 with his children was a fond memory. Uncle Timmy’s chocolate chip cookies were a tradition he was proud to keep, sharing the recipe with his children who will work on perfecting it. He loved being a father but becoming papa and poppy to his grandchildren was his greatest accomplishment.

In addition to his parents, Timothy was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Vogel; and cousin, Jimmy Linehan.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Caroline (Lyle) Vogel of Fort Ann, and Sarah (Nathan) Brekke of Queensbury; son, Andrew Vogel of Glens Falls; mother of his children, Cindy Vogel; grandchildren, Carter Washburn, and Cillian and Lucy Brekke; sister, Susan (Bill) Bryan; brother, Thomas Vogel; sister-in-law, Pam Vogel; also, several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday June 5, from 3 to 5 pm at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette Street Queensbury, NY 12804.

In lieu of flowers, friends and family may make a donation to a charity of one’s choice.

Condolences may be sent directly to Baker Funeral Home, or through www.bakerfuneralhome.com.
