of Aurora passed away peacefully on October 21, 2022. Tim was a dedicated and outstanding physics teacher at Bay High School for 39 years; he described teaching as "the greatest profession in the world" and couldn't understand why anyone would want to do anything else. A man of faith, Tim was an...

Not sure what to say?

Mr. Wags has been on my mind, as I plod through a book that tries to explain quantum phenomenon. His high school physics class was the only place, and I´m including a year of college physics, where I learned about this stuff. I remember him excitedly waving his arms about the double-slit experiment, about the arrow of time, and how is it that the falling water releasing energy as heat at Niagara Falls doesn´t gather up that heat again and flow back up? Yikes! Way too much for my little...

Martha My heart goes out to you today as you celebrate Tim's life. What a terrific couple you were to so many of us...working together, studying together, laughing together and just being together. You are a blessing to so many of us but especially to Tim in his most vulnerable last years. My prayers and love are sent out to you and all of Tim's family. With Christ's love, Betsy Tomasko Garner

Mr. Wagner was one of the best teachers I ever had. He was a kind and caring professional, and made you want to do your best. If you needed extra help on some of the tougher physics concepts he would patiently work with you. He was a model educator. My condolences to his family.

Mr. Wagner was one of my favorite teachers at Bay High School. He was enthusiastic about what he was teaching and it showed. Mr. Wagner also had a great sense of humor. I recall once of his sayings as, "That's mashed potatoes under the bridge", when something didn't work as intended. His love for God was also evident. My sympathy to his family. Mr Wagner was my physics teacher in 93/94 and was certainly the most influential teacher that I had. He was not only a great teacher but also knew and cared about all of his students. I really enjoyed his class and as a result he inspired me to study engineering in college. If it weren´t for him I don´t know what I would be doing now. My condolences go out to his family.

In the years I taught at Bay High with Tim, I came to regard him as the personification of the ideal teacher and universal man. He was intelligent, kind, thoughtful and professional. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and his knowledge in so many different areas marked him as a person of great depth and breadth. We didn't teach in the same department, and I always have regretted that I didn't have the chance to know him even better than I did. But I admired all the qualities he had which...

One of my favorite teachers! He introduced me to the science of energy, from the sub-atomic to the galactic. But it was his human energy that I will always remember with great fondness. May the family and friends find peace in loving memories, and comfort in the warm embrace of one another.

Wow - where should I begin with the influence of this great man in my life? I signed up for physics my senior year at Bay in 80-81. I recall the first assignment, Mr. Wagner (aka. T Wags) had us write what we thought physics was. I don't recall what I wrote, but I do recall I completely swung and missed. I was in for something totally unexpected with both the subject and the man. Mr. Wagner was a master at the subject and communicating it to young minds. I recall we spent the first...

Mr. Wagner was my physics teacher at Bay High in the 70's. He remains one of the greatest teachers I have had - as a scientist and as an artist. Rest in peace Mr. Wagner, and thank you.
