Tina M. (Alvey) Davis, age 29 of Fort Benning, GA and formerly of Elwood died February 22, 2007 at her residence where she died unexpectedly. She was born on September 29, 1977 in Gainesville, FL. She worked at Carl Gregory Dodge and Chrysler Auto Dealership in Columbus, GA as a sales person. She attended Elwood Community Schools, and was currently working on her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She formerly attended Central Wesleyan Church in Elwood. She was a 3-year veteran in Army National Guard based in Hammon, LA, and she served during the Katrina Disaster in New Orleans, LA. She loved fishing, hunting, photography, spending time with her sons, and loved her cats.

Suriviors include: Parents – Stephen K. and Linda (Croy) Alvey of Frankton; Mother – Susan M. Elder; 2 Sons – Ethan Michael Alvey at home, and Zander Stephen Stanley of Williston, FL; 3 Brothers – Eric Carpenter of Ozello, FL, William and wife Raeanne Cress of Frankton, and Stephen Joshua Alvey of Frankton; 2 Sisters – Julie and husband Terry Corbett of Elwood and Erin and husband Joe Gazdon living out of state; Paternal Grandfather – Morris and wife Nancy Alvey of Morriston, FL; Aunts and Uncles – Robert and Shelley Croy of Muncie, Pat and Charles Helping of Elwood, Ken and Belinda Croy of Oklahoma City, OK, Debbie and Dave Smith of Elwood, Kathy and Larry Massey of Elwood, David and Wanda Croy of Frankton, Nick and Terri Croy of Memphis, TN, Stan and Becky Alvey of Elwood, Glen and Jenny Alvey of Swayzee, Leann and Darrell Napper of Elwood, Nancy and Steve Hudson of Elwood, and Ed and Elizabeth Alvey of Anderson; Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins; and Special Friends – Heather Robleto, Stephanie Burnette, and Kelly Ashball. She was preceded in death by her maternal Grandparents – Robert and Evelyn Croy; Paternal Grandmother – Ellen (Hughes) Alvey.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Rev. Matt Miller of Central Wesleyan Church in Elwood officiating. Burial will take place in the Elwood City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home. Military Graveside rites will be conducted by the Elwood V.F.W. Honor Guard at the cemetery. Memorial contributions ma be made to Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses . I am so sorry to hear about Tina, she was a wonderful person and my heart goes out to everyone who loved her expecially those two wonderful little boys.
