HOLIFIELD TINA LYNN – Of Flint, age 47, died Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Hurley Medical Center.


Memoriall service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2024 at United Church of God, 4043 Coldwater Road, Flint, Mike Phelps officiating.


Cremation has taken place.


Visitation 11 a.m. Sunday until the time of the service at the church.


Tina was born in Flint, Michigan on November 20, 1976, the daughter of William Carl and Dorla Lee (Hancock) Brittain.


On September 18, 2018 she married Frank Johnathon Holified II.


She went to Atherton High School. She was in volleyball, cheer, and on queen’s court. She did many other extracurricular activities as well. 


She loved reading and writing.  


Tina loved to dance and sing. She loved going to church with her dad it was her favorite place to be. She was always studying the Bible and teaching others about God. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially her granddaughter, Sophia.


Surviving are husband, Frank Johnathon Holifield II;


father, William Carl Brittain; 


daughters, Sarah Nicole (Kyle Matthew) Cord and Grace Lynn Ptacek;


granddaughters, Sophia Aileen Cord and Amber Lee Velez; niece and best friend; many more nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Todd Allen Ptacek; mother, Dorla Lee Brittain; brothers, Timmy Lee Brittain, Gary Carl Brittain and Andrew Scott Hancock; son, Ethan Edward Gray and Edward Vincent Gray Jr., late husband.

Not sure what to say?

May God comfort your family following your great loss. It's most sad to see her depart us at such a relatively young age. I only got to know her some in recent months while attending church sometimes in the Flint area.

I didn’t know Tina all that well but I did know. Is was nice out going very sweet.

Words can never comfort the loss. My heart is broken for Bill. My sincere condolences.♥❤
