Tina M. Thompson

Tina M. Thompson, Watertown, passed away at her residence Wednesday, March 28th surrounded by her family and under the care of Hospice of Jefferson County. She was 56 years old.

Born September 25, 1961 in Lowville, Tina was a daughter of Francis “Bill” and Edith (Congdon) Sheehan. She graduated from Copenhagen Central with the class of 1979.

In her early career Tina worked at Hotel Davenport in Copenhagen and as a cook at Pete’s Restaurant. For the last 28 years however she was employed as a caregiver at JRC.

On April 19, 1980 she married Tim L. Thompson at St. Mary’s Church in Copenhagen.

Tina enjoyed her family, baking cakes, camping, and her cats.

Surviving besides her mother, Edith, and husband, Tim, is her son: Dustin S. Thompson of Watertown; and 5 siblings: Carol A. and George Harris of West Carthage, Nancy L. and Gary Wilton of Florida, Wanda G. and Gary Snyder of Copenhagen, Francis “Al” and Shiela Sheehan of Copenhagen, Bruce P. Sheehan of Copenhagen. Also surviving are 14 nieces & nephews, and 9 great-nieces & nephews.

Tina was predeceased by her father, Francis "Bill" Sheehan, and her sister, Billie Jo J. Sheehan.

 
There are no public services scheduled at this time. A graveside service in Brookside Cemetery will be held at a date and time convenient to her family.
