Titus Lamar Dunnigan Sr., 47, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016, in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 27, 1968, in Fort Ord, Calif., and raised in Chattanooga. He was a 1986 graduate of Brainerd High School. Titus was a member of the New United Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Dunnigan Sr.; mother, Gussie Dunnigan; sister, Freda Johnson, and brother, Terry Dunnigan Jr. Survivors include a loving companion, Retha Etherton; daughter, Kelsey Dunnigan; son, Titus Dunnigan Jr.; grandchildren, Issac, Salina and Vanessa Dunnigan, all of Chattanooga; sister, Rothie (David) Morris, of Macon, Ga.; brother, Keith Dunnigan, of Columbus, Ga.; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; devoted friend Lawrence Kirk, and many other friends. He will lie-in-state on Saturday, at 9 a.m., with the funeral to follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel, with Pastor Morris Johnson as the eulogist.

I am so happy that we got to spend time together at the Family Reunion. Didn't realize that would be the last time we would see each other. Titus is at rest now ...no more sickness and pain! Peace be with you and much love to you!!
