Not sure what to say?

My first BOSS! He gave me a job at the University of Houston, and helped me get my career started at the Texas Medical Center in Houston. He would take me and my wife saling in Clear Lake and Galveston Bay. I would see him only occasionally at pharmacy meetings, but will always remember his mentoring and leadership and friendship.

Toby was one of the best. We felt he was a part of our family. He will be missed so much by so many.

Pat, Amy, David and family,

I have so many fun memories of Toby from when I was a child. I would go with Amy to visit him in Cleat Water Shores where I was always welcomed by Toby as he would any of his children. He was an incredible sailor and a brilliant scientist. Prayers to you all!

I will miss you my dear friend! All our love from Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas.

We are all deeply saddened by the sudden loss within the profession and personally of such a caring and committed man. I will forever remember Toby as being steadfastly committed to and passionate about the profession of clinical pharmacy. He was always willing to give of himself to develop those newer to the profession than he, whether it was students, residents, recent graduates or those further developing leadership skills. We miss you, Toby! I wish we could have made it to the services in...

Toby,
We really enjoyed the time we spent with your hosting us in you historic Magazine St home. You and Pat are great loving friends and cousins. Thank you for the great times!
All the best, Phil

Pat, I am so sorry that I wasn't able to come to Toby's funeral today. You, Amy, and David are in my hearts as this is a tremendous loss to you, your family, and so many of us. I will miss Toby's caring demeanor, wit, conviction for pharmacy and fairness, and those reminders to take time out and smell the roses. He always checked in to see how I was doing and always sent regards from you as well. I will never forget seeing both of your touring the beauty of Nice and how he connected me to...

We are comforted in knowing how much Toby loved Jesus.

I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Toby's passing. He will be missed in the health system pharmacists circle of friends where he was highly respected and he was a dear pharmacy friend of mine. Toby came all the way from Charleston for my wedding fourteen years ago and I am really saddened that I could not make it to Charleston to pay my respects. I will miss seeing his smiling face at the ASHP meetings. Rest in peace, and my sincere condolences to his wife and family.
