Not sure what to say?

I have some wonderful memories of having Dr Britsch in my first semester at BYU. I remember him taking roll and calling "Man of the valley" because he had served with my dad in Austria and was seeing if I knew the meaning of my last name! It was a great semester of Civ 1.

I'm sorry to hear of Dr. Britsch's passing. I loved him dearly and will forever cherish the memories we made together in London on study abroad during Winter Semester 2006. This was one of the highlights of my BYU experience and Dr. Britsch was one of the primary people responsible for making our study abroad experience possible. He was a great professor and a wonderful man with a delightful sense of humor. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Hugs to Judy, Julie, and the rest of...

The Deseret News just published by tribute to my beloved Professor, Todd Britsch: https://www.deseret.com/2022/4/29/23046917/perspective-the-life-changing-power-of-a-teacher-todd-britsch-brigham-young-university-humanities.

I was fortunate to be part of the London study abroad program Dr. Britsch helped run just after he and Judy married. He was unfailingly kind and good hearted, and I looked up to him a great deal. I will never forget him paying out of his own pocket for all forty of us to attend the Royal Ballet or stopping me in the midst of finals stress to have a conversation about how my performance on exams was not a measure of my worth. I asked him once why he always came down to breakfast in the student...

Dr. Britsch and Judy were delightful on that "honeymoon" study abroad. I was one of the 40+ students who lived with them at 27 Palace Court for a semester. He was a brilliant professor and such a kind man. I am so grateful I had those months with him.

Saddened to learn that this great man has passed. He contributed so much to friends, family and students, and his passing leaves a void. My late husband (R.J.Snow) and I loved our association with him in the 90's while serving in the BYU administration. We had many fond memories of athletic events, development dinners, devotionals, etc. Sending love and sympathy...

I had Dr. Britsch as an undergrad at BYU, and I´ve always appreciated the love and support he gave us as students! I recall once struggling to translate some 18C German text during class, and Dr. Britsch brought me back to his office, pulled out his German dictionaries, and sat with me until we´d figured out the correct translation and its source. He teased me that semester for taking my shoes off under the seminar table during class-because he would often slip his shoes off as well! I´m a...

Dear Julie and Judy, Our deepest sympathies to you all. We lived in the Edgemont 2nd ward from 1995-2005. We loved living there. We raised our children mostly there. The Britsch family had a deep impact on our family. Bless you all. Our family esters are with you all at this time.
