SCHUMACHER, Todd David - Of Forest Township, age 46, died Saturday, March 5, 2022.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Friday, March 11, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Contributions may be made to the family.
Visitation 12-8pm Thursday and 10am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Todd was born in Bad Axe, Michigan on June 30, 1975, the son of David and Joyce (Woycik) Schumacher. Todd attended Kearsley High School. He owned and operated Schumacher and Sons Auto Crushers, Complete Scrap, Doug’s Salvage and Mike’s Auto Parts for many years. He also worked as a truck driver. Todd loved golfing, camping, tubing and anything outdoors. He also enjoyed music. Above all else, he was a big time family man.
Surviving are children, Brittanie (Trevor), Hali (Jesse), Madeline (Blake) Rehahn, Lindsay (Bryce), Kaden, Tori and Cameron;
Mother, Joyce (Roger) Kendrick;
Father, David (Melissa) Schumacher;
Siblings, Chris (Janell) Schumacher, Stormie (Mark) Bruce, Barry (Crystal) Schumacher, Mistie (Mike) Snyder and Harlie Schumacher;
Grandchildren, Brody, Melanie, Weston, Jackson, Carson and Avery;
And his canine sidekick, Torch.
He was preceded in death by his son, Tyler.

Todd was a friend of a few years and a very cool guy. I enjoyed our conversations as Todd was very sharp, witty and had a warm personality. Todd was very focused on family and endeavored to enjoy life to its fullest. Todd will be sorely missed. My deepest sympathies are extended to his family.

I didn’t know Todd, but my husband and I stayed with his group on the trail and waited for help to arrive. Todd, I could tell right away your buddies cared so much for you, respected you, & that you were well-loved. Rest In Peace, Todd. Im sorry to the family, friends, & everyone he left behind.
