Todd Willis Selge

Staff Sgt. Selge looked out for me as an attachment to his unit during the Surge on his first deployment. His unit then was stationed in a rough part of Baghdad with a policing mission when our paths crossed for a few days. Staff Sgt. Selge saw to it that I had interviews, food, water, and a place to sleep in the "Combat Outpost" upon which I reported for the Command newspaper at Camp Liberty.
