My deepest condolences to your family. I went to high school with Tom, and he was truly one of the best athletes to come out of Sandusky. His competitive spirit was unmatched, but what stood out the most was his infectious smile, especially when he won. Tom was not just a great athlete but a genuinely nice guy who brought joy to everyone around him. Sandusky has lost a true gem, and he will be deeply missed.

During that time he shared with me he was ill but I didn't quite understand or even notice anything. He was just Todd and flashing that ultra-brite smile. Fast forward to 2024. I was working in Housekeeping and my area was Stein Hospice. I saw his name on the board as incoming. I was like wait, "Todd TODD Wilkins"? After he was settled in his room I stopped in, told...
