Not sure what to say?

On behalf of my parents, Carl and Chris Ries, I would like to express our love and prayers at this time. Tom and Elaine were often mentioned with so much love from mom and dad...Mom is failing in her health as well as dad and was so saddened to learn of your father's passing. We all wish you to know of all the wonderful memories they have with your parents! I must add my love as well. They were so kind with visits to mom and dad up until the end for that we will always remember.

Tom was an incredible person. I visited the Stapley's at their home in VVL on several occasions. My family christmas caroled them each year. The past few months, Tom and I were working on a few Real Estate ideas. I am going to miss Tom. He is a great visionary person and has an exceptional ability to see oppertunity. I will miss him.

Our Hearts and Prayers go out to the Stapley Family at this time of loss. We share many fond memories of friendship and cherished neighbors across the street. May the spirit comfort you all.

Tom was a wonderful person and a great mentor. He touched my life and many in my family in a special and memorable way. Tom will be missed but has left his positive and lasting influence on family, friends and community. My deepest sympathy and love to all the Stapley family.

We have fond memories of your dad. He was such a sweet, wonderful man and fun to be around. He was a great example and counselor to Jim those many years ago-- "the older, wiser brother in the Stake Presidency." And I loved your mom, too; she gave me great advice on having 4 sons. They were both extraordinary people.

Tom's legacy of service to his family, church, and community is above reproach. He is among a cadre of individuals that have worked quietly and diligently over the past 50 decades to shape the east valley into the family-oriented region it is today. Tom's sealing of my eldest son and daughter-in-law is a point of pride for our entire family. Cindy and I extend our love and prayers to Robert, Don, Gary, Phil and Suzie.

I meant Julie Grunell

My relationship with Tom began while he was taking care of Elaine. I will miss my visits with "Mr. Stapley, sir" but know they are together again and he is at peace.

When I think of Tom I can't help but remember what a great first mate he was on my father-in-law Doug Dana's sailboat in San Diego. The two of them are probably sailing together in the hereafter and having a great time together. Uncle Tom was a great man and you can see that in the wonderful family he leaves behind. The Stapley's
have been wonderful to the Grover's for over 40 years and we are proud to call you cousins. Pam and I send our love to you at this time.
