Tom was class of 1959 at University High. I was class of 1958; friends with Bernanne Simpson who became his wife. I remember him as a great football player and a good guy. I have kept in touch with Bernanne over the years.

Tom was my athletic hero and mentor in High School. I was a Junior tackle who played next to Tom who was a defensive end. Tom was one of the outstanding athletes at University High, in the 50s. just a great human being! RIP Brownie
