Not sure what to say?

Dear Tom,

Sometimes special people pass through life, touching others, leaving each a better person from such passage. You were that person, Tom. You somehow made everyone around you feel special; hence, you were special.
I want to thank God for sending you to me to be my brother. You were all things -- my advisor, counselor, teacher. Due to your postive influence, I learned understanding, compassion, tolerance, and especially love.
I cherish the memories you...

To the family of Tom Bugbee: Tom was excellent to work with at LSSU. You are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time. Treasure the memories and know that time will help.

Tom was so well-liked by anyone who knew him; he will be greatly missed. He could always bring a sense of balance to situations that threatened to go out of kilter--especially with his wry humor.

The news of Tom's death was devastating. He will be missed greatly. My most sincere condolences.

To Tom's Family,

We are both retired from Lake State and had the privilege of working with Tom. Tom was a very warm and caring person who was fun to work with and very enjoyable to be around. He will be missed.

I found him to be the type or person who always took the time for people, to talk and help them solve their issues. He had a unique gift in knowing how to use humor, even in the middle of less than comfortable situations, to smooth out the rough spots. I am so sorry for your loss; he will be missed by me and everyone he dealt with here at LSSU. He was...

To the Family of Tom Bugbee-

Please accept my condolences. All of us at Upward Bound were devastated when we heard that he had passed away.

Over the years that Tom was my "boss", I learned a great deal from him; about personnel management, maintaining connections to departments and university staff, etc. His greatest lessons were provided by the way he conducted himself. Tom was always caring, concerned, available, and helpful; everything that a VP for students...

To Tom Bugbee's family:

We here at LSSU share your loss. Tom was a warm compassionate caring person. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to know him for the past 12 years here at LSSU. He always had a friendly smile and kind word to say – well maybe not sitting across from him while negotiating our LSSU ESP contract.

He loved peanut butter cookies - so I would make him some at Christmastime. One of the last times I saw him during negotiating (just prior to...
