Tom Clapp

Tom Franzl Clapp, 42, of Longmont, Colorado passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023. Tom was the youngest of five children, born to Robert and Lynette. He grew up with his brothers and sisters on a five acre farm in Frederick, Colorado. When he wasn't helping with chores, Tom played sports as often as he could - including baseball, basketball, and football. He enjoyed tinkering with electronics, and took an interest in designing granite tables/benches/waterfalls. After attending Frederick High School, Tom decided to develop his capabilities in design, specializing in granite and tile design/installation. Tom is survived by his two children, Darien and Kendra, his parents Robert and Lynette, his siblings Tod (Terra), Ted, Sheli (Gary) and Jill (Ray), his grandson Ozias, as well as eleven nieces and nephews and many cousins. A visitation for Tom will be held Friday, January 27, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, 326 Terry St., Longmont, CO 80501.
