Read MoreI dated Tom's daughter Jody in 1974. Tom was the sort of dad we all wanted. He accepted everyone and treated me very well. He insisted I call him Tom and not Mr. Eckman! One of my fond memories of Tom is him playing his trumpet...it was actually his mouth which was indistinguishable from the real brass! Such a great guy. Rest in Peace Tom!

I have wonderful memories of Tom - he and Jane did so much to make me feel part of the family during my time in the US. I'll miss him. Condolences to the family, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
