Not sure what to say?

I know this is many years later, but I was thinking about Tom recently. We went to school together at Kent State, took a number of radio broadcasting courses at the same time and went on to work together at WHBC. We also worked as nightclub DJ's together at the former Merry-Go-Round in Canton back in 1977. So many great memories. And Tom DJ'd my 25th high school reunion at St. Thomas Aquinas. We jumped off the speakers at the same time! Just like he used to do at the Merry-Go-Round. Keep...

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Tom. Back when I was little he was the reason I got into radio. I had the chance to work with him at WZKL and got the chance to become friends with him and learn about life and faith from him. His fight with cancer was an inspiration. He told me about the book he wanted to write. Unfortunately I lost touch with him and I was devestated to hear about his death. Tom was a good man and a good friend and now he is home and doesn't have to suffer anymore. ...

I did not know Tom personally but I always laughed and had a good time listening to him on the radio. What a character!!! Thank you so much for the good times and may God bless your family. You were one of a kind.

I remember how Tom made me feel welcome in a new town and environment. I didn't know Tom well, but you never forget stuff like that.

Dear Debbie, Emily and Katie,

I was saddened to hear about Tom's passing. He was a good friend. We talked about his love of our Lord and his love for each of you often. I am so happy that I got to spend a little time with him this summer at the WKDD reunion. I will miss him.

God bless,

Nick Anthony

Debbie & Family
You and your family have my deepest sympathy. I am sure memories of Tom will get you through your time of sorrow.

Tom, You were such a great friend to Bob & I and especially during Bob's cancer. We will always remember your visits, car shows and especially the walks for cancer. You will always be in our hearts. Love, Bob & Jan

Tom, you had more energy than anyone I ever knew. I don't know how you did it but you always made your listeners feel good about themselves.
That is a mark of a true professional.
Tom, all the best,

Tom,

I believe you are up there looking down on us with your irrepressible, cheerful spirit. I was just a kid when we first met. And while a lot of the jocks didn't have time for the crazy little intern, you always were so encouraging and helpful.

And when I ran into you and you told me of your struggle with cancer, you were still ever the optimist. It was as if nothing could get you down. And if more people would choose to follow your lead -- one thing is for sure, the world...
