Not sure what to say?

We still miss Tom. He was such a kind, friendly person. Tom did so much good in this world that nobody ever knew about. RIP my friend. Travis & Martha Summerlin

Tom, you are still missed terribly. Travis and I have some fond memories with you and Ms Melba. We have tried to contact Ms Melba to check on her but have been unable to do so. You will never be forgotten an admired dear friend.

Aunt Melba and cousins Tommy & Mark,
I wish to extend my sympathy to you during this time of grieving. Sincerely, Holly

my family and I lived across the street from mr harken and his family for many years in the 70's and early 80's. our condolences to the harken family.

I worked with Tom in the RV business mid
'70's (I was the Sales Manager for Merry Miler Camper Vans) and always enjoyed the magic of his energies and effervescent smile. Where ever he went,he was the star. I was proud to see him on Rev. Schuller's Crystal Cathedral TV program, and again on cover of a Parade Magazine. I wanted to
accept his offer to help start his Mexican food place in Beaumont...but I knew I would kill myself trying to keep up with his 18 hour days and 7 day weeks. ...

I learned a great deal about business from Tom Harken. A keen, astute man who could brighten a room with his million dollar smile.

I met Mr. Tom at Casa Ole' I went to school with both Tommy and Mark. Mr. Tom was such a kind soul and his work ethic was very important to him obviously. He left a legacy in the community because of his constant devotion to community spirit. Our prayers to the Harken family, may God wrap all of them in arms and give them peace and comfort.

The world is a better place for having Tom's sense of fun and laughter. His determination to follow his dreams no matter how much work was required was inspiring. His dreams were shared by his devoted wife Melba and his lovely family. I'm so grateful to have been a part of their bright light for many years. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I met Mr Harken when he opened his first Casa Ole restaurant. He was very nice, but got things done. I went to school with his both of his son's.I think the world of this whole family. Praying for all of you during this difficult time.
