Dear Jo Ann, Tina, & Tom Jr.
I am very sad to hear of Tom's death. He was a good father, grandfather, husband to Carolyn & brother to you, Jo Ann. He was a gentle man and I saw him after he was sick when he had his home listed for sale. He was doing so well with his illness then and was always so pleasant. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We talked about his grandchildren and Jones Valley mostly. My condolences to all of you. Shirley Shaw

I was a classmate of Tommy's at Jones Valley High School. Tommy kept us laughing at the 45th Reunion held in Gulf Shores. I feel so fortunate to have been able to attend that reunion and meet up with Tommy again after so many years. His family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear of Tommy's death. He and I sung in a gospel quartet,along with Dorothy Dennis and Brice Burlison and we were quite good for 10th graders.

We all had a good time at our Jones Valley 45th class reunion in Gulf Shores and he kept us laughing with his dry humor and he will be missed.
The family is in our prayers.

I was saddened to hear about Uncle Tommy. Momma called to tell me. I know both Mom and Daddy will miss him. You all are in my prayers.
