Tom inspired and aided hundreds of runners over the years. He lives on in their accomplishments.
I ran with Tom for seven years from 1992 to 1999. Runs with Tom were always interesting. He once spent a good part of a run on the Upper Wildcat trail at Rancho San Antonio describing to me how a helicopter flies. So many memories I have of Tom in the 90's. Races, Thanksgiving Dinners, Striders, etc. and most of all his encouragement for my husband, Rob Greenlee. Rob had run a few 10Ks when he moved to Palo Alto and connected with the Strider's running group.
