Not sure what to say?

When I told Tom that I was gathering the history of the early years of the Society of Industrial Realtors (now SIOR), he sent me a packet full of articles about the early years and shared several stories about his father and his early experiences. I was and remain so grateful for his warmth, desire to help develop a full history, and his wisdom. His death was a complete surprise, and to date, he still has not been recognized in a way that he deserves. A good man and a role model for me. He is...

Tom and I met when I was involved in leadership of SIOR. He became my "go to" source for information about the history of the organization. Always affable, opinionated, honest, direct and concerned....about the nation, his work, his family, friends, SIOR, etc. Tom was a great example of a "doer". If something mattered to him, do anything he could to solve it, find it, get it, help. Tom was and remains a role model. His actions spoke volumes for who he was. He has been and will remain...

Samie - I just found this site to remember Tom. I was president in 2006-7 and had a particular interest in it's history. Over the years Tom was an invaluable help in the occasional updates to our SIOR anniversaries. He knew and wanted to share the unique legacy of an organization that he did so much for and admired him. Tom always had a smile, would give you a straight answer and was the kind of person many of us will always have a role model in business and life. Thank you for letting us...

Sammie, I was so sorry to so belatedly of Tom's death. He was one of the first gentlemen I met in the SIOR environment and was so kind and inclusive to Sherry and me. Knowing someone of Tom's stature in the organization helped me become more interested in its success and invited me to try to play a role in its future. We had so many wonderful after-convention trips that are so much a part of my memories of SIOR. As is the case with a number of people who have preceded me, I like the world...

TOM and Joanie

A great guy and fellow SIOR. Many happy memories time spent together

I met Tom a couple of years ago when I was in Cleveland representing SIOR. He was so gracious to spend time with us and drove us around Cleveland to show us various aspects of the City he was so obviously proud of. It was a real thrill for me to meet such an icon of not only real estate, but someone who has meant to much to so many withing SIOR. He will be greatly missed.

Oh, Sami, I was so sad to learn of Tom's passing. He was a wonderful, generous man who loved family and each community he lived in. The Living Desert and Boys & Girls Club have been honored to know him and count him as a treasured supporter. My sympathies to you, Sami, and family.
