Tom was a wonderful friend and mentor to me and my family. I worked with Tom for many years and he always took the time to teach me about law and about life. I am deeply saddened by his untimely passing. What a wonderful person he was.

I often reflect back on my mentorship in your father's office when I was growing up. I am now a prosecutor in Texas. My time in your father's office was a stepping stone along my career path. I give my sincere condolences to the family of a great man and lawyer. I worked with Tom and found him to be gracious and caring to his clients as well as courteous to those with whom he worked. He will be missed.

Tom was a fantastic person. I don't believe he ever met a stranger. He always had a smile on his face and took time to talk with you. He will always be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

My condolences go out to the Marek family. Tom had a great sense of humor and was a kind man. At the time when I worked for him, he had given me the nickname "Rockie." Never did find out why. I guess he pretty much had a name for most everyone and was always correcting the english language if used improperly. lol. May God give the Marek family peace and comfort at this time of
