Tom Moriarity

I am so sorry for his family and friends on the loss of this wonderful man. One of my first lasting memories of him was when he approached me, both in congratulations and annoyance, at the conclusion of the awards ceremony of the Temple Festival of Arts Competition. We were 11, 5th grade, I think different schools then, and I had beaten him out for the grand prize with my poem!! Tom was a great lover of his trees - We appreciated the privilege of helping him care for them over the last 20years. Always a warm greeting and smile!

I worked closely with Lyn at NTHP for 5 years and I so loved when Tom would come around! Always with a smiling face and usually a witty joke, and so easy to talk to in general. I loved their love story, their love for their kids, and their support of my career even from a distance many years later. So much love to Lyn and the family, Tom will be sorely missed.

What a wonderful human being. I know no one who more generously give his support and his skills to the causes he cared about. And there is no one I more enjoyed being on the road with. He'll be missed by hundreds.
