Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to have just heard about Tom's passing. He was a very caring man, with a lot going for him. My condolences to his family.

I knew Tom in high school and he was very special to me and he will be missed.

Your family is in my prayers.

Tom Steven Roper: Senior High Portrait 1982

Well it has been a month since we lost our dear friend. Not a day passes that i don't think about him. His friendly smile, his kind gentle nature, and the way he made all his friends feel special. Tom was a special friend of my family and even though i didn't get the pleasure of knowing him as long as others at least i did get the pleasure of knowing him. Tom was kind and gentle to everyone. He opened his heart and home to so many people. He made a difference in so many peoples lives. I will...

I don't have many memories from the age of 13 up to my young adult years that don't have Tom somehow in them...even if just in the periphery. He was like another brother to me. Even checked me out of school to get my driver's license on my 16th birthday (and actually again the NEXT day..:) He was one of the most lighthearted, good natured, adventurous and smartest people I knew. Big doofy grin and loud laugh. I will remember him that way.

OUR FAMILY KNEW TOM MANY YEARS AGO.HE WAS A NICE AND PLEASANT YOUNG MAN.HE AND MY DAUGHTER WERE CLOSE FRIENDS FOR MANY YEARS.THANKS TO EVERY ONE WHO WAS THERE FOR HIM IN HIS TIME OF NEED.I HOPE ALL OF YOU KNEW TOM LONG ENOUGH TO KNOW THE WONDERFUL TOM WE KNEW.
