Uncle Tom was such a quiet man. I remember him saying, "I scream. You scream. We all scream for ice cream!" It seemed a bit out of character then but makes me smile now. Uncle Tom was always kind. I never heard him even mildly upset. He was a good influence on me. He will be missed.
