Not sure what to say?

Joyce, I was so shocked to learn of Tom's passing! I am so sorry for your loss!

I just found out about tom I,m so sorry about your loss, growing up in EP everyone knew every one in school and seem to be one big family.

Dear Family of Tom Smetana,
My memories are of Tom in school. I had the priviledge of going to school with Tom from Kindergarten thru the 12th grade. He was quiet, but humorous. I had many childhood recollections of Tom. Our deepest sympathy to his wife, children and grandchildren.
Sincerely

Dear Joyce and family,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My prayers go out to you during this difficult time.

Joyce and family:
I too was shocked to hear of Tom passing because like most people from Eden Prairie, I still have visions of the "super jock". I know the two of you were together for many years and I'm hoping all the memories will get you through this trying time.

Joyce,I am so very sorry to hear of
Tom's passing. My heart goes out to
you and your Family.

I'll never forget how much fun we had growing up on Valley View Road. I can remember when we were in second grade and Tom talked me into going out in the lagoon behind their house. The boat was taking on water faster than we could row it back to shore. We had good times, and Tom and his family will forever be part of what made Eden Prairie the great place it is today.

I remember times in Marcie's back yard playing kickball and other games with Jessie and Matt. Tom was always out there with us. He will be missed. That was such a long time ago. I wish I would have kept in touch better. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Dear Joyce and family,
I am deeply saddened with your loss. As Jim Balfanz noted, we grew up in this magical neighborhood of County Road 39/9 Mile Creek (now interestingly refered to as "The Golden Triangle")- Smetana, Kosteka, Enblom, Balfanz, Dvorak. Tom was part of my childhood. He was six years older than me and I thought he knew everything. He was a gentle giant. His smile filled the woods.
The neighborhood has changed, but our memories are in cement. Let's get together this...
