Not sure what to say?

Still hard to believe Tom is gone. He was always the best athlete at whatever he participated in. He was a loyal friend who reached out to me after I left the Cleveland area. I think about him often and the many times we got together over the years. I wish I could talk to his family someday to get more information on his wife and Tom's passing. Rest in Peace Tom, you deserve it.

Just found out of Tom's passing as I live in Colorado. Tom was my best man in my wedding in 1974. He was a friend I could always count on and provided assistance to me and my family many times over they years. We attended the same high school and played football and ran track at James Ford Rhodes High School. After I left the Cleveland area in 1986, Tom still kept in touch with me until the last few years and that probably was due to his wife's illness. He is never going to be forgotten by...

Coach Standring was one of those people you never forget. He was my football coach and drivers ed instructor back at Midpark from 1981-83. Always quick with a joke, he was a great guy to be around. My sincere condolences to the Standring family.

Our condolences to Chad and Monica on the passing of your Mom and Dad. They were great people, very positive and caring.

I was fortunate to have taught Physical Education with him and coached 8th grade football while he coached the 9th grade team at Roehm Jr. H.S.

May God Bless you at this difficult time.

Tom was a great man and a great colleague. It was a pleasure to know and work with him in the Berea City Schools. My thoughts and prayers go out to Tom and his family.

Monica and Chad,
We are so sorry to hear the news about your dad. Please know that your parents are in our prayers as are you.
Your neighbors,

Dear Monica and Chad,
I am sending my most sincere condolences to you on the passing of your dad. He was a wonderful man so kind, caring and enthusiastic. Tom made a difference for so many students, athletes and everyone he knew. I enjoyed chatting with Tom just a few weeks ago and he gave me a box of golf balls. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Chad and Monica, I am sorry for your loss. Coach Standring along with his entire staff at Midpark made a great and impressionable difference in our lives. He prepared us to be the best team possible and to count on our buddies to always to their job. He worked us over during the week and offseason and together we won. Although we may have grumbled and laughed about it during the process, we have kept his favorite sayings, work ethic, and spirit of commitments in our lives. He made a...

I am sadden to hear of Tom's passing. I knew Tom from Rhodes High School, where he played football and threw the Shot and Discus with my brother Paul(64). During my Junior year, he was an asst. football coach. He had an outgoing personality and loved life. May God Bless and Keep You. Tom Posen Jan(71) Rhodes High School
