Tomas Navarro, 56 of Patterson passed away Thursday, May 28th at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson.
Mr. Navarro was born in Tepatitlan, Jalisco, Mexico and was a resident of Patterson for 41 years. He was a custodian for the Patterson Joint Unified School District for 19 years. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was very active at Sacred Heart Church in many ministries including Breakfast in the Park and helped with many community fundraisers.
Mr. Navarro is survived by his wife, Lourdes Navarro; mother, Paula Navarro; son, Tomas Navarro; daughters, Alejandra Navarro and Stephanie Navarro all of Patterson; brothers, Jose Luis (Maria) Navarro of Ceres, Lazaro (Angelina) Navarro, Arturo (Josefina) Navarro both of Patterson and Jose Guadalupe, Jr. (Darcy) Navarro of Hughson; sisters, Irma Navarro and Teresa (Arturo) Murillo both of Patterson. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Guadalupe Navarro in 2011.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, June 2nd at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 3rd at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will be at a later date in Mexico.
