Hillcrest Funeral Home Burial Park & Cremations - San Antonio Obituary

Tomas Orosco born on September 11, 1965, passed away on September 6, 2020 at the age of 54. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elizandro Orosco and Isabel Gonzales.

He is survived by his daughters, Crystal Orosco, Samantha Orosco, and husband Moses Martinez; son, Christopher T. Orosco; brothers, Elizandro Orosco, and wife Dahlia, Ruben Orosco, and wife Diana, Michael Orosco, and Jesse Orosco; sisters, Florence Dingler, and husband Mike, Maria Teresa Moreno, and husband Jesse, Sylvia Tovar, and husband Robert, Rose Orosco, and Doris Orosco; grandchildren, Holly Orosco, Christopher Orosco, Moses Martinez, Malachi Martinez, and Mialuna Martinez; extended family and friends.

Thomas Orosco was a very family-oriented person. He loved his kids more than anything but probably not as much as his 5 favorite grandchildren. Thomas was also a very hard-working man. He enjoyed waking up early in the morning to drink his cup of coffee, pray, and head out to work. On Sunday’s, he tried his best to attend church, and if he was unable to, he praised and worshipped at home. A couple of his hobbies included going to concerts, cutting yards, and learning to play guitar. If there was one word you can use to describe Thomas, it would be generous. Whether you needed money or a favor, he was always willing to give in any way he could. Thomas will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM (20 People Maximum With Rotation Guests) with a private Prayer Service at 7:00 PM however you may join the family via livestream on our YouTube channel at the following link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQ2TN0K60JY   You may also view and sign our guest book at www.hillcrestfuneral.net

Now, you see God's face. Rest in peace my beloved younger brother!! I take great comfort in focusing and remembering Apostle Paul said, "to be absent from the body is to be present with Our Lord".

I miss you soooo much Dad. I wish you were still here. You never let me dwn. You always made time for us no matter what. You were an amazing dad to me Christopher and Samantha. I am so grateful that God blessed me with you as my dad for 29 years. You were taken way to soon but left us with tons of wonderful memories that will always stay in our hearts. It rained today and all I could think of was you taking us to the bridges to see how filled they got. I keep thinking about the last time we...
