We remember Tomiko's beautiful smile, gentle nature and ever present camera, poised to capture the smiles of her children and grandchildren. We send our love to all the Iwasakis.

I was 13 when James first introduced me to the most gracious, warm, welcoming woman I had ever met, aside from my own mother, of course. I don't recall a single visit when Tomiko didn't orchestrate some fancy kitchen treat - usually several - as soon as I walked in the door. In her gentle way she managed to make me feel comfortable enough to overcome some of my early-teen shyness. Later, I recall her calming influence when visiting during high school & college. When someone special, like Auntie Tomiko, touches your heart, they are never truly gone. She will be in your heart forever. James, Ronnie, Marcia, Sandy, John and families, wishing you comfort and peace.
