Not sure what to say?

I seldom go on Facebook, so just heard about this from our high school Facebook page. May you rest in peace, Tomio, and may God's perpetual light shine upon you.

We shared many classes together and played together in a quartet in junior high, winning a First Place in Solo and Ensemble. Happy memories of this kind and talented person!

Tomio was a kind man and wonderful teacher. I have many wonderful memories of being his student and being a receipient of his patience with young children and passion for music. He brought so much joy and music to this world; both from his own talents and from the students he spent a lifetime teaching. My condolences to his family, his children, and to his Suzuki family of students.

Toni will be fondly remembered for introducing and cultivating the joy of playing music in our children, Amelia and Chris. Music continues to be an important part of their lives, even though they are not professional musicians.

The soup he prepared for our family for the New Year.

Sorry to hear of his passing. I always liked his gentle personality and loved playing music and dancing with him.

I was sad to hear that Tomio passed away. He was a unique human being, a dedicated musician, and a teacher whose work had an impact on the lives of many young people. The Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra was fortunate to have his artistry for over 30 years! Wow! My sincere condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.

Tomio was an amazing musician and his artistry was greatly appreciated at the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra and beyond. Tomio will be deeply missed and remembered by all of us here at the KSO. May his soul rest in peace. Our most sincere condolences and prayers go out to his family.
