Tommie Jenkins

As the former Assitant Principal of A. A. Crim High School, I shall always remember Major Jenkins' greeting each time I would ask "How are you doing?", and he would reply "It's a great day!" I assure you, he never altered his answer no matter what the situation or circumstances. He will be fondly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to make his acquaintance. His memory will live in the lives of the many boys and girls that he touched during his career.

Death is just a natural thing like the closing of a door as we start upon a journey to a new and distant shore.so let your grief be softened and yield not to despair, TOMMIE has been placed in the loving father care.Life on earth is a transient affair,just a few brief years in which to prepare for a life that is free from pain and tears, where time is not counted in hours or year. love you

TO THE JENKINS FAMILY;
I'M SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOST. HE WAS( AND STILL IS) A WONDERFUL AND THOUGHTFUL MAN, AND A GREAT TEACHER AT SOUTH ATLANTA HIGH SCHOOL. I'VE KNOWN HIM FOR FOUR YEARS(CLASS OF 2000) AND HIS ABSENCE WILL BE MISSED. ALL MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU. GOD BLESS.

We are very saddened and our hearts are very heavy. Though Tommie will be missed, his work here has been completed. He has now gone on to do a greater work for the Lord. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. God will give you peace that surpasses all understanding. We love you if we can do any thing please let us know. You all are in our prayers
