Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure to know Tom during our time at the L.A. Times. Telling you what a great guy he was would be like preaching to the choir. He was a good friend and I am a better person for knowing him. My prayers and comforting wishes go out to his wife and children. Let me leave you with these words of solace " to live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die...." Tom still lives in all of us, and remembering him honors him.

Jeannette & family, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. So sorry for your loss, Tommie was a wonderful man and I never remember seeing him without a smile on his face. Love, Your cousin Debbie

Papa, Nanie and the Grandkids

Daddy... I still can't believe you are gone. I wish I could open my eyes and this was all a dream. I love and miss you with every ounce of my being. You were an amazing Daddy.. As I always told you, "the best Daddy in the world" and you always would deny it.. you never had to try, you just were. I love you Daddy!

We are so very sorry for the loss of Tom, he was a kind loving man with a family who loved him very much.. He will be greatly missed. Our love , to his family and prayers that each day gets a little easier. May God Bless Tom and his Family.... With our deepest sympathy and love, Kathy and Phil Helming

Love to all of you.

Mary, my prayers are with you and your family. I know how much you hurt, may you find your strength in each other and in our heavenly father. Love you...

Tommie, thanks for being a friend. Your down-to-earth view of life, your wisdom, and your rare sense of humor will endure in my memory for years to come. You were truly one of a kind. Rest well, T.

Dear Jeannette,
You have been in my thoughts and prayers and will continue to be. My heart aches for you at the passing of Tom. Knowing that Tom was a second father to Ronnie deepens that ache, but what a legacy he has left! All my love and condolences to you, Diana

Tom, You and your family will always be a special memory of my childhood growing up on Buckingham St. in California. I loved spending the nights on the weekends. You let us watch scarry late night movies and took us to In-n-Out Burgers all of us in that little car of yours. So much fun and fond memories with your family. I will never forget your kind and loving heart. I will never forget you. Love Always Lori Wendt-Robertson
