I am sad to learn that Tommie has departed this life. I have very fond memories of meeting him through my golfing compadre, Bobby Pope, when Bobby and I were in our late teens in the early 1970s. We enjoyed a number of opportunities to play with Tommie, and to marvel at his shot-making skills. His ball-striking abilities were downright stunning.
