Tommy L. Gilman

Wow. Just found obit 1/5/18. Went through flight school with Tommy. Became great friends. Then ran into him again in Germany. In fact he bought my old car in Germany before I left. One of the most gentle souls I have ever known. Great pilot. My wife was in Germany with me and had a chance to meet Tommy. We loved him. Tried to find him several times over the years but was unsuccessful. Love you buddy. Maybe well meet up again at the next level.

My condolences to Tom's daughters, their mother, his brother and sisters and for my Mom Suzanne. Tom left this earth very unexpectedly, but on God's schedule. Tom was a great guy and treated my Mom like Gold. Tom was a fellow US Army Soldier and I have great respect for his long service to our country as a Chief Warrant Officer and Pilot. I am glad I got to know Tom and I am thankful for the good times and travel he shared with my Mother. Rest In Peace Tom! Patrick Whitney
