Not sure what to say?

We would like family to know how much we appreciated Tommy's willingness to be part of the National Registry of Veterans with ALS and his family and caregivers cooperation in answering our questions when we called every 6 months. We have been able to collect a great deal of information that will help researchers studying ALS. Our sympathies our with the family. Barbara Norman, project coordinator.

Tammy, Terry, Andy & Cindy,
You are in my prayers during this time. Tommy was a great man and has struggled for a long time. He and I shared the love of country music and I loved to hear him and Jewel sing around the house. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

I have lived across the street from the Higgins sense 1976. I watched the their kids grow up. Mr. Higgins an I use to have little wars of who could plant the most flowers. He loved flowers or anything he could watch grow. Even after he became ill, he would talk his nurses into planting stuff for him, just so he could watch it grow. He will definitely be missed.
