Tommy Lee Holland Tommy Lee Holland, "T-Byrd", of Fluvanna County, beloved son of Wayne and Patty Holland, died peacefully in his sleep the morning of Monday, September 2, 2013. Tommy was born in Charlottesville, on April 12, 1984. He attended Fork Union Military Academy and was a graduate of Fluvanna County High School. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Landon Clay Holland; his sister, Kelley Holland Thomas and her husband, Robert; and by his nephew, Cooper Chase Thomas. Other survivors include his grandparents, George and Hazel Cason; his great-uncle, Dempsey Holland; and his uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Tommy loved his family, his friends, and adored his son, Landon. He was an avid sportsman and lived to hunt, fish, and spend time in the outdoors, often with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Calvin Tommy Holland; his grandmother, Emily Butler Walker; and by his favorite uncle, Richard Clay Cason Sr. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7 p.m. Thursday, September 5, 2013, at Hill and Wood Funeral Home. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate his life will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013, at the home of his parents Wayne and Patty Holland.
