Read MoreI was a childhood friend of Sharla's and I think of this family from time to time. They were a beautiful family. Tommy would sometimes take us to school in a Volkswagen van. I would play at their house after school. Many good memories. Beautiful family. That was back in the early 70's. :)

Tommy and his wife Beth were two of the dearest, sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I have known them since I was a tiny toddler. They were my first Sunday school teachers and were always smiling and full of joy. Through the years Tommy always had an encouraging smile for me that just lifted my heart. I´ll bet God has a special place in heaven for him. Condolences to Beth, girls and family. Rest in peace and rise in glory, sir.
