Not sure what to say?

Capt. We all at Station 1 will truly miss you. Our prayers go out to your family Thomas Hirzel

Captain, I will always remember you as a true leader of his men at our fire station at north island, God Bless your family

This is where Nick worked & the USS Ranger is tied up at the Quay wall. His old Ship.

Nick and I have been friends for almost 50 years, we worked together in the fire department, hunted and fished together. You couldn't ask for a better friend, he would do anything for you.

A good friend and fishing bud and neighbor!!

A Good Friend and Fishing Mate For years ,and a neighbor!!

It was a Honor serving in the fire service under you. I realize you are looking down and in the Lords hands with no more pain. Please watch over all your family here. God Bless you Captain

He was my uncle. I feel very blessed to have been a part of this family. It was an honor to be his niece. I could never put into words what both he and Aunt Pat have meant to me throughout my life. He and my dad had a very special relationship. They loved going fishing together. I like to think that right now they are out in a boat fishing and Aunt Pat and my mom are shopping. Whatever they may be doing I know that they are happy to be together again. You will always be in my heart...

I worked with Mr. Nickels for many years, I can never remember a time when he didn’t have a smile on his face, or something good to say.
