Tommy Rollins

Tommy Rollins was born on September 6, 1945 to the Late Bishop Cleve Rollins and Missionary Rutha Mae Mitchell Rollins in Crawfordville, FL. He departed this life on Friday, December 22, 2023. 

He attended the public schools of Wakulla County, FL. Tommy was united in marriage to Evelyn Faison on March 21, 1965. He was employed with W & L Tire and Wheel of Quincy, FL and was later employed with the Pat Thomas Law Enforcement Academy of Havana, FL for over 30 years. He was promoted to Custodial Supervisor before retiring in 2009.

Tommy accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior, was baptized and joined Greater Saint Paul Primitive Baptist Church, where he was a member until his demise.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving and devoted Wife: Mother Evelyn Faison Rollins of Gretna, FL; Son: Marco Rollins (Julia) of Quincy, FL; three Daughters: Jennifer Rollins (Temeka) of Quincy, FL, Darlene Cunningham of Quincy, FL, and Breinda Rollins of Syracuse, NY: four Sisters: Pastor Annie Ruth Rollins McMillian Jackson (Allen) of Gretna, FL, Missionary Joann Rollins Donaldson (Bishop Arthur Donaldson) of Gretna, FL, Vicki Rollins Hendrix of Gretna, FL, and Minister Catherine Rollins Horne of Gretna, FL; two Brothers: Elder David C. Rollins of Washington, DC, and Leroy Rollins of Gretna, FL; Sister-in-Law: Plassie Rollins of Bascom, FL; six Grandchildren: Malik Rollins, Marco Rollins, Jr., Dominique Rollins, Elliot Cunningham, Salacia Cunningham, and Zoe Ford; six Great Grandchildren: Rae’Lyn Rollins, Bailey Rollins, Dax Gabree, Salonte House, Ebere Cunningham and Eliana Cunningham; special Nephews: Andrew Reed of Tallahassee, FL, Billy Reed of Gretna, FL and Willie Glover of Quincy, FL.

He was preceded in death by one Daughter: Toni Rollins; five Siblings: Pastor Betty Lou Rollins Reed, James Douglas Rollins, Senior Mother Rosa Lee Rollins Glover, Mother Daisy Lee Rollins Dickerson and Bobby Rollins, Sr.; one Grandson: Hugh Cunningham; and one Granddaughter: Dariona Rollins.
