Carrie and family,
My sympathy goes out to you on the passing of your father, husband, and grandfather. For the short time I knew Tommy I remember him as a very kind man, which was only superseded by his generosity. He on more than one occasion freely provided the parts which kept my "college car" running.
It was with an unmeasurable sorrow that I also read Zachary had preceded him in death. I had no idea. For so it is written that on the day we are born, God knows when He will call us home. I just wish he had not called Zachary at such an early age. I did not know him as a man but I will forever remember the love I had for him as a child. His spirit was and I'm certain still is a beautiful entity.
Your bereavement is for Tommy so I apologize for going astray. May peace be with you and perpetual light shine upon them.
Sincerely, Shane Morris

Dad you are the greatest. You left us way too soon but now you are in a better place. You were a blessing to everyone you ever met
Tomorrow we say goodbye but you are already there looking down at us.
Take it easy on your brother Douglas at the domino table.
Psalm 23:1-6
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Pops, thank you for a childhood full of fishing trips and extracurricular activities... you truly embodied what it meant to have a good time. (Even if it was just picking me up from school in your cool cars jamming the Beach Boys) I will miss playing dominoes, your funny Christmas card emails, your genuine smile, and mostly you. Take care of Zach and give Deano a hug from us. Until I see you in Heaven... Love you.

"Pops". I am going to miss you dearly. You have truly been an inspiration with your successeses in life. I can see why my father "Dean", "RIP" and my mother, "Your lovely daughter" "Carrie", blessed me to cherish your name as my middle. I don't know why you had to leave so soon. We still had another fishing trip to take. You can catch all the big ones now. - Rick O

Julie, Mark and I are so sorry for your loss. We didn't know Tommy as well as we would have liked to, but we know it was too soon for him to be gone. We can only hope that your grief will ease as the days go by. We are thinking of you.

Dar and I would like to extend our sincere condolences to Julie and Tommy's family. Tommy was one of those people you meet whom you never forget. A big guy who was larger than life in so many ways, with the most charitable heart ever. I think he received a great deal of satisfaction by doing something for others. After buying a 27ft cabin cruiser he talked me into being his boat "partner". In the 2 years we owned the boat I used it a lot, but don't think he took it out more than a few times. I will always remember that. He was also always cheerful, and enjoyed the positive in everything. And he was tough. Seeing him days after open heart surgery you would never know he just had a major operation. All in all, Tommy Rouse was a true gentleman, and good friend to all. We will miss him.

It is with a heavy heart I say good bye to a true friend. Tommy it was an honor to get to know you. You enriched my life with your quick smile and jovial outlook on life. I appreciate how patient you were with me calculating all my moves while playing dominoes. I am so sorry about the pain you endured and I know you are in a better place now. I will miss our phone calls and your emails. I regret now not spending more time with you and Julie . Life is so precious and very fleeting. I take away from this a need to spend more time with the people we care about. Trish and I always had a great time when we were together with you two. I will never forget you buddy. I hope we will meet again in another place. Thank you Tommy for being you. I will miss you deeply. Your humble friend Andy

Tommy. It has been my great privilege to have you as a friend all these years. Losing you from this life breaks my heart, but you are pain free and at peace now. Save a place for me at the dominoes table in heaven. I will love you always. Trish
